About The Author

Meet Julie

Hi! I'm Julie, the founder of The Worldly Goat.

My interest in cow milk allergy began about five years ago, when I started learning more about how dairy can affect different people. What began as personal curiosity gradually grew into a passion for understanding nutrition, food allergies, and the science behind everyday foods.

As I learned more, I noticed that many families were asking the same questions I had. I wanted to make these topics easier to understand, especially for children. That's how The Worldly Goat began.

Today I write children's stories and educational articles that help families explore topics like milk, dairy, lactose, food allergies, and healthy eating in a way that is clear, engaging, and most importantly, fun.

How I create

Every article starts with a question that parents and caregivers commonly ask. Before I begin writing, I review information from health organizations, scientific publications, and nutrition resources.

My goal is to explain complex topics in clear, everyday language without oversimplifying the science. Whenever possible, I compare information across multiple reputable sources and include references at the end of each article so readers can explore the topic further.

While I work hard to ensure my content is accurate and up to date, The Worldly Goat is an educational resource and should not replace medical advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

How I create books

How I create articles

Every story begins with a question I wish I had been able to answer more simply.

I first research the topic to understand the science, then I think about how to explain it from a child's perspective. Rather than overwhelming children with facts, I use characters, adventures, and everyday situations to help them explore new ideas with curiosity and confidence.

My goal is to create stories that are enjoyable to read together while encouraging conversations about food, health, and the world around us.
